REX loops take advantage of Reason's innovative slicing technology to break music loops down into multiple sample regions or 'slices', which can then be loaded and manipulated within the DAW's Dr. Octo Rex player, as well as FL Studio's Slicex, Logic Pro, Stylus RMX and many other software applications.
