Flood by Soundbytes

This wonderful 1.8 GB drone library from ModeAudio gives cinematic, soundtrack and ambient music producers a treasure chest of great sampling material. There are plenty of good samples to tweak, mutate, alter and process here. 

The 37 drone samples are slick and have that dystopian feel. These drone samples aren’t stagnant as they are modulated, constantly shifting and moving. The 41 texture samples are awe-inspiring and should give producers good starting points for executing new projects. With samples, like, Frothy Chatter, Metal Ringer and Sluice Fabrik, I would say this is Flood’s main strength. 

There’s really not much in the atmosphere folder, but it’s compensated by a wealth of bass and SFX samples. The programming and sound design of Flood is brilliant, and it proves another great library from ModeAudio. Good stuff!
