Futurism by Beat

The Futurism sample pack from ModeAudio feels like a journey back in time to the 80s.The sonic focus of the 149 music loops is clearly on Synthwave. The retro vibe, in the style of Miami Vice, is noticeable throughout, but the sounds are high quality and not 8-bit Style. There are 18 arpeggios and pads, 23 basses, 16 drums, 15 sound effects and 41 synthesizers included, as well as 59 individual samples featuring Drums from vintage machines with rich filter processing. Included are 101 MIDI sequences. The synth melodies are very pleasant, but could be catchier. Long reverb effects are typical of the sound of the time. This is particularly noticeable in the Drums, which could have been a little punchier.

Verdict

For the production of Synthwave Pop or for dubbing retro clips, Futurism offers a lot of authentic sounds that are also very inexpensive. The floating pads and fat synth basses are a particular highlight.
