Omega Station by Soundbytes

Hazy, groovy, laid back are some of the words that can describe this new sample pack from ModeAudio. Their ever-expanding catalog is tapping the trip hop genre this time with Omega Station, with 327 of total files. 

Built on 573 MB of samples, it includes sounds such as bass, drums, percussions, keyboards, pianos, synthesizers, vox and SFX loops. Also on hand are one-shots, drum hits, synth tail samples (for adding a natural decay) and 58 MIDI files for loading up in your DAW for further arrangement. 

I love the drum loops in this pack as they have enough crispness to punch through a mix. In the Drum Samples category, the kit called Paranoia and Circumstance are great for creating a drum rack in your DAW. My favorites in this pack, though, are the atmos key and vintage-sounding keyboard which immediately grabbed my attention. 

Overall, we have here a solid release from ModeAudio.
