Aptly named as Static, ModeAudio’s noise texture library floats between atmospheric and experimental. Here you’ll find samples that are in the ModeAudio vein – lots of synthetic sounds tilted towards the grandeur side of electronica. 

It is important to know that ModeAudio has been in this for so long, and like their other cinematic ambient releases, Static just works. This royalty-free 1.43 GB library includes 150 samples that will spark your creativity. It’s full of sparkling, vibrant, moving and shimmering sounds that will invigorate your lifeless tracks. 

Static includes six sound categories: Ambiances, Drones, FX, Noise Drones, Noise Textures and Textures. Each folder offers a generous number of samples. I particularly find the Ambiances folder inspiring with its 40 files. If you want to add thickness to your tracks, the Noise Texture and Noise Drones will give you elements that are on-the-money. You can use these for ambient beds or background effects. 

Another thing that I like about this library is the length of the samples. They range from 12 seconds to 58 seconds – an advantage if you produce drone music. Good stuff and another title to consider.
