Serum
How to install your Serum Presets:
1A. For Mac OS: please navigate to the following folder location - 'Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Presets > Xfer Records > Serum Presets':
- move the presets folder from your downloaded pack to the 'Presets' folder;
- move the wavetable samples to the 'Tables > User' folder;
- move the entire 'ModeAudio' folder inside noises to the 'Noises' folder. If you've done this for a previous pack, just copy the .wav noise samples directly into 'Noises > ModeAudio'.
1B. For Windows/PC: please navigate to the following folder location – '[Your Main Hard Disk] > Documents > Xfer > Serum Presets':
- move the presets folder from your downloaded pack to the 'Presets' folder;
- move the wavetables to the 'Tables > User' folder;
- move the entire 'ModeAudio' folder inside noises to the 'Noises' folder. If you've done this for a previous pack, just copy the .wav noise samples directly into 'Noises > ModeAudio'.
2. To make sure Serum has scanned your new preset, noise and wavetable files so they're available for selection within the synth, navigate to Serum's 'Menu' in the top-right corner and select 'Rescan folders on disk'. The files will now be available for use from the synth's various drop-downs.
3. To use the MIDI, simply drag and drop from your downloaded pack onto available tracks within your DAW, or use any 'Import MIDI' functions your DAW might have.
