Relic by Soundbytes

Another ambient offering from ModeAudio this month, Relic, and it comes as a 591 MB download library. The samples in this library feels like home and is true to the genre. It’s full of lush analog synths, granular drones, various field recordings and deep background basses. 

The sounds are otherworldly, expansive, warm and mysterious – surely a great resource if you’re producing electronica, ambient, retrowave and downtempo. I can’t get enough of the 29 synth loops and the 27 texture loops. I wish there were much more. They are recorded very well, and the processing and programming is top-notch. 

A very useful set of 45 drum loops are at hand for chopping and dicing. As always, ModeAudio tries to satisfy their customers by providing synth tail samples (83 included) to give the synth loops a long-decay sound for a natural, smooth finish. Outstanding stuff!
