It's time to test a new sample pack from ModeAudio - 'Multiverse - Retrowave Loops', a collection filled with great, inspired retro sounds and available in multi-format, ready for any production situation.

The pack contains drums, basslines, synths, pads, arps and percussion loops as well as drum, percussion and synth tail samples, not to mention key and tempo-labelled midi loops. In total, you will get 385 audio files, 460MB (unzipped) if you download this pack.

The content is interesting not only for producers but also for DJs, whether you´re working in Ableton Live or if you´re looking for something similar to high-quality STEMS or remix material for NI's Traktor.

Authenticity seems to have been a priority in the creation of this pack, with absolutely gorgeous analogue synths and FX used, as well as featuring a wide range of powerful kicks, very real sounding hi hats and fizzling percussive one-shots.

Although it's labelled as a retro pack I wouldn't necessarily constrict its use to retro productions. After opening the pack I found myself quite inspired by the possibilities and therefore see the worth in it if you're searching for new inspiration regardless of Genre. Of course, this sample pack is not for everyone but it could find a home with those of us creating Downtempo, EDM, House, Pop & Techno, amongst others.

In my opinion, it is a very interesting package and a good source of inspiration for any modern music maker.
